The Euro-Mediterranean Ad Hoc Meeting of the 27 Ministers of Foreign Affairs ‘MID-TERM REVIEW ’ was held in Palermo, at the Villa Igiea Grand Hotel, on 3 and 4 June. This meeting brought together the Foreign Ministers of Euro-Mediterranean countries to assess progress and challenges in the regional partnership, with the aim of strengthening political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean. The choice of Palermo as the venue underlined Italy’s strategic role in promoting dialogue and stability in the Mediterranean area.
