On 15 December 2011, Prada inaugurated its first boutique in Sicily, in Palermo, inside a prestigious 19th-century building adjacent to the Politeama Theatre.
For the occasion, PRC Repubbliche orchestrated a high-profile inaugural event, taking care of every detail with professionalism and precision. Public relations and communication activities included sending customised invitations and an accurate telephone call to confirm attendance, ensuring a selected and qualified presence.
The general organisation of the event included the activation of a dedicated secretariat, responsible for the provision of essential services such as catering, hostesses, technical equipment and press office. Particular attention was paid to relations with the local authorities, ensuring smooth management and respect for institutional protocol.
On-site supervision by the agency’s managers ensured the perfect coordination of all components of the event, contributing to its success. The evening was attended by numerous VIPs, including top model Eva Riccobono, and local dignitaries such as the President of the Province of Palermo, Giovanni Avanti, and the Municipal Councillor for the Historical Centre, Maurizio Carta.
The inauguration aroused great interest in the city, attracting a large audience and generating considerable media impact. This event marked an important milestone in the expansion of Prada’s retail channel, underlining Sicily’s deep and consolidated tradition of elegance.
